COMPREHENSIVE CARE OF PREGNANT WOMEN

Project period: 2008 – 2011

Donor: Plan Internacional of Spain

Zone: María Jesús Espinosa, El Mirador, Santa Rosa, Nuevo Progreso, Parcel C, December 31, October 12, Keiko I and Keiko II, Hiroshima, Yoshiyama, Olivos de la Paz, Luis Felipe I and Luis Felipe communities II belonging to the districts of Ventanilla and Pachacútec, Callao province, Lima region.

Beneficiaries: 1700 children under 3 years of age, 30 pregnant women, 250 nursing mothers and 1400 mothers and fathers.

IMPROVING HEALTH CONDITIONS: CREATION OF A MATERNAL AND CHILD CARE CENTER, FOOD SECURITY PROGRAM AND STRENGTHENING OF HEALTH CENTERS

Project period: 2006 – 2008

Donor: CESAL and Junta de Comunidades de Castilla La Mancha.

Zone: province of Andahuaylas, Apurímac region.

Beneficiaries: 4288 families.

SUCCESSFUL TRANSITIONS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD

Practical proposal of comprehensive care for children under 8 years of age and habilitation programs to parents, children and teachers.

Project period: 2009 – 2010

Donor: Bernard van Leer Foundation of the Netherlands.

Zone: María Jesús Espinosa, El Mirador, Santa Rosa, Nuevo Progreso, Parcel C, December 31, October 12, Keiko I, Keiko II, Hiroshima and Yoshiyama communities belonging to the districts of Ventanilla and Pachacútec, Callao province, Lima region.

Beneficiaries: 3862 boys and girls aged 0-7 years, 1733 fathers and mothers, 20 communal authorities and 123 teachers.

BOOST OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION AND ORGANIZATION OF SMALL PRODUCERS.

Project period: 2006 – 2007

Donor: CESAL of Spain and Junta de Andalucía.

Zone: province of Andahuaylas, Apurímac region.

 

 

 

 

IN VENTANILLA, CHILDREN ARE A PRIORITY: STRENGTHENING CHILDREN RIGHTS

Capacity building process in communities and families about children rights.

Project period: 2007 – 2010

Donor: Kindernothilfe of Germany and the German Ministry of Development Cooperation.

Zone: Hiroshima and Yoshiyama communities belonging to the districts of Ventanilla and Pachacútec, Callao province, Lima region.

Beneficiaries: 7420 children aged 0-18, 727 fathers and mothers, 48 ​​communal authorities, 160 teachers and 5935 participants in campaigns to promote children’s rights.

AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT WITH MARKET VISION AND CHILD NUTRITION IN RURAL COMMUNITIES.

Improvement the efficiency use of irrigation water, farming techniques and reducing the levels of malnutrition in children under 3 years of age.

Project period: 2005 – 2007

Donor: CESAL of Spain and Junta de Comunidades of Castilla La Mancha.

Zone: districts of Talavera de la Reina and Santa María de Chicmo, Andahuaylas province, Apurímac region.

Beneficiaries: 150 irrigation farmers, 10 teachers and 100 students of rural schools, 75 small breeders of small animals, 80 children under 3 years of age and 15 pregnant mothers.

PERU FIGHTS AGAINST CHRONIC MALNUTRITION

Strengthening the capacities of public institutions and improving practices in nutrition, health, hygiene and early stimulation at the community level.

Project period: 1999 – 2010

Donor: Terre des Hommes Foundation of Switzerland.

Zone: María Jesús Espinosa, El Mirador, Santa Rosa, Nuevo Progreso, Parcel C, December 31, October 12, Keiko I and Keiko II communities belonging to the districts of Ventanilla and Pachacútec, Callao province, Lima region.

Beneficiaries: 750 children under 3 years of age, 100 pregnant women and 100 nursing mothers.

CHILDREN TAKE THE MICROPHONE

Participation of children under 7 years of age in the creation of permanent spaces for violence prevention.

Project period: 2005 – 2007

Donor: Bernard van Leer Foundation of the Netherlands.

Zone: Ventanilla district, Callao province, Lima region.

Beneficiaries: 2000 children under 7 years of age.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: IMPROVEMENT OF FOOD SECURITY FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS OLD 

Project period: 2008 – 2009

Donors: Entrepueblos, Valladolid City Council and Palencia City Council of Spain.

Zone: Santa María de Chicmo district, Andahuaylas province, Apurímac region.

Beneficiaries: 673 children under 3 years of age and 130 pregnant women.

ACTION ON GROUND FOR THE PREVENTION OF CHILD VIOLENCE 

Creation of spaces for reflection and training in the community, and mass meetings to promote children’s rights.

Project period: 2005 – 2006

Donor: Kindernothilfe from Germany and Kriens hilft Menschen in Not from Switzerland.

Zone: Ventanilla district, Callao province, Lima region.

Beneficiaries: 800 children from 5 to 12 years old, 286 parents and 10 community leaders (children, adolescents and or adults).

FOOD SECURITY AND AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT 

Program to strengthen marketing skills for dairy products, training agricultural producers and improvement of the nutritional state of children under 3 years of age.

Project period: 2007 – 2009

Donor: CESAL of Spain and Junta de Andalucía.

Zone: Turpo districts, Talavera de la Reina and Santa María de Chicmo, Andahuaylas province, Apurímac region.

Beneficiaries: 360 families of children under 3 years of age.

FOOD SECURITY PROGRAM AND AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT 

Improvement of agricultural production and efficiency of water use through capacity building programs for families, community agents and community authorities.

Project period: 2005 – 2006

Donor: CESAL of Spain and Junta de Andalucía.

Zone: Santa María de Chicmo district, Andahuaylas province, Apurímac region.

Beneficiaries: 200 farmers, men and women, 200 small farmers, men and women, 50 pregnant mothers and 400 children under 3 years of age.

COMMUNITY STRATEGIES FOR THE PREVENTION OF CHRONIC MALNUTRITION AND ADVOCACY FOR BETTER TREATMENT TO CHILDREN. 

Project period: 2006 – 2009

Donor: Sahee Foundation of Switzerland.

Zone: Ventanilla district, Callao province, Lima region.

Beneficiaries: 800 children from 3 to 18 years old and 300 parents.

COMMUNAL FOOD SECURITY FOR A BETTER NUTRITION OF CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS OLD.

Capacity building program for families and communities.

Project period: 2004 – 2006

Donor: Fund of the Americas of Peru.

Zone: Andahuaylas province, Apurímac region.

Beneficiaries: 600 families with children under 3 years of age (275 boys, 286 girls, 92 pregnant women) and 50 community agents.

COMMUNITY STRATEGIES TO IMPROVE FOOD SECURITY FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS OF AGE. 

Project period: 2007 – 2008

Donor: Fund of the Americas of Peru.

Zone: Talavera de la Reina district, Andahuaylas province, Apurímac region.

Beneficiaries: 171 children, 177 girls and 33 pregnant women.

PROTECTION FOR CHILDREN VICTIMS OF MALTREATMENT. 

Training families, communities and institutional strengthening of Schools Advocacy Offices and two Community Centers to provide attention to victims of abuse.

Project period: 2004 – 2006

Donors: Manos Unidas and Entre pueblos de España.

Zone: Ventanilla and Chorrillos districts, Lima region.

Beneficiaries: 4811 children and 4531 adults in the community.

FOOD SECURITY PROGRAM AND AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT. 

Technological and productive options to strengthen the productive capabilities of small producers.

Project period: 2007 – 2008

Donors: CESAL of Spain and Junta de Andalucía.

Zone: Turpo and Chincheros districts, Andahuaylas province, Apurímac region.

Beneficiaries: 1150 families of farmers and 253 families with children under 3 years of age and pregnant women.

NUTRITIONAL RECOVERY AND FAMILY REHABILITATION OF CHILDREN WITH SEVERE MALNUTRITION IN PERU. 

Project period: 1998 – 2005.

Donors: Infants del Món and Government of Andorra, Entrepueblos of Spain, Alcoa Foundation of the United States, Roger Torné Foundation of Catalonia, Kusi Warma Cataluña, Damiano Foundation and Kindermissionswerk “Die Sternsinger” of Germany, Wereldkinderen of the Netherlands, the prize obtained from the Natura Selection Company in Spain and private donations.

Zone: Ventanilla district, Callao province, Lima region.

Beneficiaries: 200 children and 300 families annually.
